Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in West Branch, IA. You will join the Maintenance Team, report to the Maintenance Manager, and ensure continuous availability and proper maintenance of plant elements using SAP PM and related SAP processes.

You will plan, schedule, perform, inspect, and document preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and support safe, efficient operations to minimize downtime and maximize uptime in a renewable

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED or equivalent.
• Vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical fields (preferred).
• Proper and safe utilization for both hand and power tools.
• 1 year in the maintenance field or an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology (required)
• 3-5 years in the maintenance field (preferred).
• User-level knowledge of Word and Excel.
• ERP/SAP experience is preferred.
• Ability to take responsibility and initiate tasks independently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working at heights on occasion.
• ISO 9000:2000 Quality System knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage consumables, spare parts, tooling, and inventories, including purchasing and SAP transactions.
• Oversee work orders, maintenance schedules, documentation, and SAP reporting.
• Plan, schedule, and perform maintenance activities including inspections and preventive work.
• Maintain and repair equipment, tooling, and facility infrastructure.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks with third-party vendors.
