Job summary

Nordex is seeking a Clean Energy Facilities Maintenance Technologist in Iowa to safeguard equipment reliability and plant readiness. You’ll use SAP PM to turn maintenance strategy into action, coordinating with teams and vendors to prevent issues and resolve urgent repairs.

You will own maintenance plans, perform inspections and preventive tasks, and drive continuous improvement. This role emphasizes safety leadership, asset care, and reliable operation of critical wind equipment.

Responsibilities

• Restore and improve assets—maintain, repair, install, assemble, modify, and commission equipment, tooling, and facility infrastructure.
• Own SAP PM work orders, schedules, documentation, and reporting.
• Assure parts readiness—manage consumables, spares, and tooling from purchasing and receiving to replacements and SAP transactions.
• Amplify the team—coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors to scope, standards, and safety.
• Reduce downtime—support planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement within the maintenance program.
