Job summary

Altium Packaging in Anaheim, California is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, and blow mold equipment. You will ensure GMP compliance and work with other departments.

The role requires basic math, pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge, and 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance. OSHA forklift certification is preferred. This on-site position offers overtime as needed in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

Basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Excellent attention to detail.
2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
Perform mold and neck tooling changes.
Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Weld, fabricate, and repair machines.
Troubleshoot and locate root problems in equipment.
May operate blow mold or injection machines.
Communicate with other departments regularly.
Duties may differ by plant based on equipment.
Receive task instructions from Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Assistance is furnished on unusual problems; work is reviewed for sound judgment.
