Job summary

Altium Packaging in Argos, Indiana, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility systems in compliance with GMP.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, and collaboration with other departments. Reasonable overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipment.
• Inspect and replace hoses, valves and pumps; perform mold and tooling changes.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
