Job summary

Our client in Milwaukie, Oregon is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join the maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure manufacturing equipment operates efficiently by maintaining coolant systems, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble/reassemble equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and follow preventative maintenance.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Work at heights using ladders and lift platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain coolant systems across manufacturing equipment.
• Test coolant condition using refractometers and pH meters and take corrective action.
• Change and replenish coolant systems, clean tanks, and maintain coolant mixing.
• Replace machine filters and service coolant system components, including pumps.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities and TPM events.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production uptime.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean work environment.
