Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Argos, Indiana facility. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery including blow mold equipment while upholding Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include installing, adjusting and repairing equipment, conducting valve and pump maintenance, and performing tool changes as needed. Strong attention to detail and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Two-plus years maintenance experience preferred in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; OSHA forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace hoses, valves and pumps; perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition; weld and repair as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Coordinate with other departments and follow instructions from Lead Technician or Supervisor.
