Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Kentucky seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep 12-hour production lines running on a 3-2-2-3 rotation. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, with an emphasis on rapid uptime and safety.

Eligible candidates have 3+ years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. Training and advancement through Plastipak Academy are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and diagnose issues.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on elevated platforms.
• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance and rebuilding spare parts.
• Participating in efficient changeovers to maintain production flow.
• Completing advanced technical trainings to earn new certifications.
