Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Shepherdsville, KY. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance across hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, conveyors, cranes, and doors, working from schematics and blueprints to keep operations running at peak performance.

Safety, training, and a strong team culture are emphasized. The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, passing a drug screen, and background check; veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required.
• Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Previous experience in forklift repair.
• You’ll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
• Veterans encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems.
• Maintain conveyor systems, cranes, hi-speed doors and general building upkeep.
• Follow safety standards and keep the parts room organized.

As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands‑on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, hi‑speed doors, and more. We have high standards for safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and that our business is always running at top performance. Schedule

Monday through Friday 6pm to 3am

Pay

Our Maintenance Mechanics can make anywhere from $27.77 - $41.33! Actual pay will be assessed & based on experience and skill set.
