Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to supervise hourly maintenance staff and ensure continuous operation of plant equipment. You will plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance activities in a high-demand environment.

You will collaborate with engineers and planners to optimize maintenance budgets and improve reliability while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial/heavy manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Plan and program maintenance work to minimize production downtime.
• Update maintenance records and equipment history in CMMS.
• Help develop the annual maintenance budget and monitor costs.
• Promote standardization of equipment and maintenance practices.
