Job summary

MOVA Metals is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance technicians, contractors, and crafts to ensure safe, reliable plant operations. You will drive preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and EHS teams.

The role requires supervision of rotating equipment, heat exchangers, vessels, piping, and materials handling systems, with focus on continuous improvement and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, piping, rotating equipment, valves.

Responsibilities

• Promote and actively lead a strong safety culture through compliance with MOVA Metals safety policies.
• Supervise mechanical maintenance technicians, contractors, and specialty crafts personnel.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities through the CMMS.
• Manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Lead troubleshooting for rotating equipment, pumps, agitators, mixers, conveyors, blowers, compressors.
• Support equipment reliability improvements through RCFA.
• Oversee maintenance involving heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, piping systems, and process equipment.
• Participate in outage, turnaround, and capital project planning and execution.
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel.
• Support maintenance budgeting and equipment reliability objectives.
