Job summary

Specialized Staffing & Industry Recruiters is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a mid-sized manufacturing/machine shop in Zelienople, PA. You will lead a team of three maintenance techs responsible for production machines as well as buildings and grounds maintenance.

The role reports to the VP of Operations and requires experience in manufacturing or fabrication settings, with the ability to read blueprints and manage CMMS workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Experience leading a team or readiness to step into a supervisory role.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for mechanical and electrical work.
• Familiar with computerized maintenance software (CMMS).
• Openness to learning, growth, challenges and change.
• Able to communicate at all levels with integrity, patience and respect.
• Must pass background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Review trouble tickets/repair requests, assign and communicate with internal staff.
• Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance schedules aligned with production needs.
• Ensure proper calibration and performance of machines.
• Assign tasks to techs, coach and check quality; ensure use of work instructions and tools.
• Partner with HR to evaluate applicants, interview and participate in hiring decisions; conduct performance evaluations.
• Be liaison for outside vendors for specialty equipment servicing.
• Coordinate building and grounds maintenance with outside contractors.
• Ensure safety, quality of workmanship and adherence to company rules.
• Suggest process improvements, equipment needs and staffing.
