Job Description

Oversees, plans, and issues work orders to appropriate shift team members for the implementation of equipment modifications, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and coordinates maintenance resources and provides recommendations for capital and continuous improvement projects.
• Reviews equipment operation with personnel to identify maintenance issues related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve plant operations, OEE, and maintenance problem resolution.
• Tracks, analyzes, and improves Maintenance department KPIs.
• Engages employees in problem resolution using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Fosters a positive work environment and drives the Maintenance team to meet productivity and performance standards.
• Ensures compliance with governmental regulations.
• Manages the Maintenance budget and assists in recruitment and training of personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management.
• 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, preferably in Packaging Industry.
• Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or process improvement.
• Lean environment experience preferred; Six Sigma certification a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge preferred.
