Job summary

Top Quality Recruitment (TQR) is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH to lead a team of technicians responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

You will oversee safety, regulatory compliance (OSHA, HACCP, GMPs in beverage context), coordinate maintenance planning with Production and Engineering, and drive continuous improvement across facilities.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience leading a team of technicians and coordinating with Production and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coach technicians to support skill development and performance.
• Oversee preventive and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols (OSHA) and ensure compliance with HACCP and GMPs.
• Monitor safety policies, lockout/tagout, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee capital and in-house projects and ensure supplies are available.
• Analyze issues, implement efficiency improvements, and optimize processes.
• Assist with shutdowns, installations, and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.

Job description

The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians to ensure the reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Key Activities

• Supervise, train, and coach technicians to support skill development, performance growth and a positive work environment.
• Oversee both preventive and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment operation.
• Enforce safety protocols (including OSHA requirements) and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation standards (such as HACCP and GMPs).
• Monitor and enforce safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee smaller capital and in-house projects, and ensure sufficient supplies are readily available.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, implement changes to improve efficiency, and utilize tools to optimize processes and equipment.
• Assist with planning and executing shutdowns, installations and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions Ensure parts inventory is properly maintained and reorder supplies as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and report on maintenance status.
• Deep understanding of safety regulations and quality standards specific to the beverage industry preferred.

Educations & Experience

• Technical degree in Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field – OR – equivalent experience in manufacturing maintenance leadership.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
