Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment. The role requires diagnosing problems and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and crane systems, ensuring safety and production quality.

You'll operate scissor lifts and boom lifts up to 40 feet, forklifts, basic electrical work, and metal fabrication. This on-site position demands teamwork, physical stamina, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training preferred.
• Minimum two years of industrial maintenance experience; manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical/electronic systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 86 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and crane systems.
• Operate motorized equipment, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
• Fabricate metal structures and perform welding/cutting as required.
• Maintain plant safety and housekeeping; participate in 6S and safety programs.
