Job summary

Tyson Foods in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a maintenance supervisor for B shift to lead the electrical and mechanical maintenance of manufacturing equipment, prioritizing safety, uptime, and cost control.

You will supervise the maintenance/production crew, schedule tasks, complete work orders and preventive maintenance, maintain safety logs, and ensure OSHA compliance while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and supervision is a plus.
• High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Some travel may be required for training.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Supervise the designated maintenance/production crew.
• Track budgets and ensure product quality.
• Schedule maintenance crews and production orders.
• Maintain logs and records for the maintenance department's safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Support team growth and drive continuous improvement within the department.
