Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for the B shift at the Caseyville, IL facility. You will work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep the line running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to equipment failures, and collaborate with plant teams to minimize downtime while following CMMS processes and safety protocols. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills documented on work history or resume; 2-year maintenance program credential acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Conduct emergency repairs as needed and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Interact with plant personnel to meet production goals and minimize downtime.
