Southern Recruiting Solutions, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of plant equipment and utilities.

The role provides engineering support for maintenance activities, reliability improvements, troubleshooting, and projects within an industrial setting. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience with boilers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, and other plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in maintenance, reliability, or engineering in chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, or similar plants.
• Experience with boilers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps and other plant equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and mechanical safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and reliability programs for boilers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps and other process equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and develop corrective and preventive maintenance solutions.
• Analyze equipment performance and reliability trends to identify improvements.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical support for rotating and fixed equipment and plant utilities.
• Assist with equipment inspections, repairs, modifications, and replacements.
• Manage small maintenance and reliability projects including scope, cost, and scheduling.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering and EHS teams to improve availability.
• Support equipment specifications, installation, commissioning, and startup for new or modified systems.
• Participate in root-cause failure analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
