Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance in an industrial setting. You will ensure equipment safety, diagnose malfunctions, and improve reliability through proactive servicing.

The role requires working with automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, installing PLCs and sensors, and documenting all activities with CMMS. Excellent collaboration with production teams is essential to keep downtime minimal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; industrial maintenance background preferred.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent in maintenance millwrighting.
• Strong technical skills in automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts and calibrate control devices and PLCs.
• Install, configure, and calibrate automation systems including PLCs and sensors.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS or similar tools.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
