Job summary

Synagro in New Haven, Connecticut, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform all phases of mechanical maintenance throughout the plant. Responsibilities include preventative, corrective, and emergency mechanical maintenance under the guidance of the Operations Manager, as well as conducting predictive analysis of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong mechanical aptitude, alongside effective communication skills. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with computerized maintenance programs preferred.
• Ability to work varying shifts and on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct predictive analysis of systems and equipment.
• Identify and repair mechanical malfunctions.
