Job summary

Lobos Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our food industry client. This temp-to-perm opportunity has immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shifts with start ASAP and pay from $35 to $45 per hour, DOE.

You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment; read electrical diagrams; service PLCs, VFDs, motors, and pneumatics; and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

4 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience required.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Food or beverage processing experience preferred.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

Repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical, mechanical, electronic, and solid-state equipment.
Diagnose equipment issues and decide repairs or parts replacement.
Install and repair electrical conduit, cables, piping, and controls.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, relays, timers, and associated equipment.
Work with hydraulic and compressed-air systems.
Operate lifts to move equipment and maintain spare-parts inventory.
Follow safety procedures and address hazardous conditions.
