Job summary

Trinseo in Louisville, KY seeks a Maintenance Mechanic on first shift to install, maintain, service and rebuild plant equipment. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is based in Louisville, KY.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance and support safe plant operations. Must have a HS Diploma and 5+ years of industrial experience, with exposure to PLC/DCS and VFD systems.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience working on industrial equipment and facilities.
• Must have experience in Instrumentation and Control maintenance.
• Must be familiar with PLC, DCS, electrical motor controls, VFDs and with some pneumatic experience with strong troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, instrument, and mechanical problems in the field.
• Repair, install and service all plant equipment and building and grounds.
• Execute tasks to support plant operations and ensure proper operation before turnover to production.
• Provide feedback on out-of-calibration instrumentation and abnormal observations to supervision.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting as required.
