Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Chagrin Falls, OH seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on 1st shift (6AM-2:30PM, Mon-Fri with overtime and weekends as needed). You will maintain and improve preventive maintenance programs, diagnose equipment issues, and support commissioning of new machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years technical maintenance experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting of pumps, mixers, and general machinery.
• Experience with PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate forklifts, lifts, and hoists; able to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, work instructions, and high‑hazard task procedures.
• Maintain and enhance preventative maintenance programs.
• Complete documentation for repairs, purchases, audits, and compliance activities.
• Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and utilities maintenance.
• Conduct maintenance on production equipment involving chemicals and adhesives.
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Install new machinery and support commissioning processes.
• Train team members in basic maintenance practices.
