Job summary

NEXPERA LLC in Darrow, LA is seeking a General Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field and plant equipment. You will support plant and field operations and ensure assets run at optimum performance.

The role requires 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, strong problem solving and teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Travel may be required and overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years in industrial maintenance.
• Skills: problem solving, teamwork, and strong communication.
• Certifications: valid driver’s license; TWIC within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Support plant and field operations with maintenance activities.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment and restore to optimal performance.
• Provide maintenance support for projects and oversee tools.
• Assist with process safety and seasonal prep tasks.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain equipment and facilities.
