Job summary

ROCKWOOL is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at our Byhalia, MS location. The role supports maintenance of stationary machinery, with a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM 2-2-3 rotation and emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration.

You will install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment, working closely with the Maintenance Electrician and contractors. A strong background in MIG welding and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years Industrial Maintenance experience.
• MIG welding skills required.
• Computer literate.
• Strong command of English.
• Good people and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Works closely with Maintenance Electrician and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair stationary industrial machinery and equipment.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery using hand and power tools.
• Operate hoisting devices to position machinery during setup and repair.
• Inspect machinery to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts and adjust machinery as needed.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for overhaul or setup.
