Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Red Oak is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform PMs, repairs, and improvements for braider equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and work closely with the plant to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, using the work order system, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through Lean Manufacturing and 5S programs. Flexibility for overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, plus 2 years technical trade school or equivalent experience.
• Industrial experience in a similar industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical & pneumatic systems.
• Communicate at all levels within the plant.
• Use the maintenance work order system as prescribed by department Mgr.
• Update & advise department Mgr. and maintenance lead of machine & procedural issues.
• Complete assigned machine PMs within the allotted time.
• Work autonomously and in small groups to complete assignments.
• Comply with all safety regulations set by OSHA and Parker.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities without loss of focus and negative attitudinal impact.
• Work safely to prevent waste of product and components.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
