Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years mobile equipment experience on diesel/LPG engines.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Basic metalworking skills.
• Knowledge of 12–24-volt electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Experience with motor, coupling, bearing and pump alignment and lubrication.
• Willing to work any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial mobile equipment for plywood production.
• Troubleshoot equipment controls and identify deficiencies.
• Identify and list parts to repair mobile equipment.
• Install and align equipment parts.
• Perform basic metal welding and cutting tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and meet deadlines.
• Maintain maintenance logs including labor hours and findings.
• Work with operations to prioritize repairs on mobile equipment.
• Communicate work performed and equipment statuses clearly.
• Help meet production and quality goals while optimizing equipment to reduce waste.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines and participate in safety program.
