Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing facility in Kenner, LA. You will troubleshoot and repair metal fabricating machinery, with emphasis on CNC, PLC, relay logic, and VFD systems, ensuring adherence to OEM standards and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, associate degree, or certification in mechanical/electrical trades is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC, boilers, or air compressors.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advanced troubleshooting and repair of metal fabricating machinery.
• Familiar with CNC, PLC, Relay Logic, Three Phase Motor Control systems and VFDs.
• Fanuc, Allen Bradley & Siemens experience preferred.
• Exposure to various equipment (Trumpf Lasers, Benders, grinders, lathes) is a plus.
• Reads drawings, schematics, service manuals and follows OEM directives.
