Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our plant team in the United States. Starting rate at $36.45/hour, with opportunities to grow within a large cement manufacturing organization.

Essential duties include interpreting prints, installing, testing, maintaining mechanical equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient operation across rotating shifts. Strong welding and maintenance background preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from accredited institution is required
• Industrial Maintenance Experience in a Plant type setting is required
• Able to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Speak, read, write and understand English
• Ability to work independently, without constant supervision
• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
• In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders and walk on mixed terrain and in confined spaces
• Complete and pass required assessment tests (Wonderlic and Ramsay MECTEST)
• Must possess a working knowledge of maintenance and welding
