Job summary

Fort Worth Division Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems in Fort Worth, TX. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support utility systems, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, 2+ years industrial maintenance experience, and strong reading of blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical diploma, or equivalent practical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related equipment issues on production and converting machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair facility utility systems, including boilers, steam generation equipment, condensate return systems, and steam distribution networks.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain building systems and support facility improvement projects as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, making safety the highest priority in every task performed.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and plant performance goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
