Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to perform machine repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience and an associate degree in a related field, with PLCs, drives, and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities include installation assistance, safety compliance, LOTO procedures, and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school.

Responsibilities

Machine repair, rebuilding and retrofitting.
Performs preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment to electrical, mechanical and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures and apply corrective action.
Utilize diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and monitoring equipment performance.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical and structural repair in and around the facility.
Work in a safe and organized manner.
Assist with the installation of new equipment.
Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools as required.
Perform Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with company policy.
Operate PC-based Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Prior forklift certification.
Good driving record and current, valid driver's license to operate company vehicle as required.
Availability for overtime as required.
