Job summary

PLP is seeking a skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and pipe systems. The role involves diagnosing malfunctions and coordinating with supervisors to ensure safe operation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document maintenance data and times, and work from instructions or drawings. The job also covers testing and replacing electrical components, installing busduct disconnects, lighting, and repairs under lockout/tagout.

Qualifications

• Inspect machinery or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or maintenance workers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery/equipment as required.
• Record equipment maintenance data, job time, and prepare other basic information and reports as required.
• Builds, fabricates, repairs structures and/or equipment from verbal instruction, blueprints and/or working drawings.
• Tests/replaces electrical components under lockout/Tagout requirements. May also install/replace busduct disconnects; replace lighting and fuses in switchgear while energized or inoperable parts.
• Assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of oblast.
