Position Summary

This position involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and assets while ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with Tyson policies. The role focuses on electromechanical equipment in a food processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and provide technical support
• Understand technical and training manuals
• Handle and record data on cleaning chemicals
• Comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF standards
• Proficiency in electrical, controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes
• Experience, training, or education in a mechanical capacity preferred
• Strong communication skills required
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Assist with other tasks as assigned
• Participate in rotation positions if applicable

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform physical tasks with or without accommodations, including pushing, pulling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and climbing stairs and ladders.

Minimum Requirements

At least one year of documented maintenance experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program. Experience can be from multiple employers, as long as documented.
