H.B. Fuller in Chagrin Falls, OH seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with occasional overtime.

The role supports preventative maintenance, engineering projects, and safe operation of production equipment in a facility producing roofing urethane, asphalt products, and adhesive tape. The candidate will diagnose equipment issues, install machinery, document repairs, and train peers, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years technical training and maintenance experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills (pumps, mixers, general machinery)
• Experience with PLC and HMI troubleshooting
• Ability to operate forklifts, lifts, and hoists; ability to work at heights
• Reading P&IDs and technical drawings (preferred)
• OSHA 10‑Hour General Industry Training (preferred)
• Pipefitting experience (preferred)
• Experience working cross‑functionally with multiple departments

Responsabilidades

• Follow all safety rules, work instructions, and high‑hazard task procedures
• Maintain and enhance preventative maintenance programs
• Complete documentation for repairs, purchases, audits, and compliance activities
• Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and utilities maintenance
• Conduct maintenance on production equipment involving chemicals and adhesives
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
• Install new machinery and support commissioning processes
• Train team members in basic maintenance practices
