Job summary

J.D. Streett & Company, Inc. is a family-owned lubricants manufacturer in St. Louis seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair and monitor industrial processing and production machinery at the oil blending facility.

The role requires a mid-level technician with experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, 2+ years in industrial maintenance, and a willingness to engage in ongoing training. Competitive hourly pay with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

2 years minimum of industrial maintenance experience.
Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
Basic understanding of electrical systems.
Comfortable with computers and able to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery.
Set up packaging machinery.
Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.
Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
Safely operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools.
Maintain parts and tools inventory.
Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge via ongoing training.
