Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our plastic manufacturing team in Stamford, CT. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems, following PM schedules and ensuring safe operation.

You will work with overhead conveyors, 24-volt motors and single-/three-phase electrical circuits, using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Comfort with overhead conveyor systems and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery.
• Follow Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Utilize hand, power, and electrical tools.
• Repair and maintain overhead conveying systems.
• Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and rebuild machinery.
• Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems; 24-volt motors.
