Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Direct Hire)
Night Shift | $28.00/hr + $2.00/hr Shift Differential Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating 12-Hour Schedule
Education Requirements
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and hands‑on maintenance experience considered.
- Must successfully complete Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) certification training.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and material handling systems.
- Proficient in preventive maintenance, machine repair, equipment installation, and root cause analysis.
- Experience operating machine shop equipment, welding equipment, and fabrication tools preferred.
- Ability to diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Regular exposure to manufacturing environments with moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to work safely at heights and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency maintenance situations as required.
Job Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Inspect equipment, identify malfunctions, and replace defective components to maintain efficient operations.
- Install, assemble, and maintain machinery, valves, pressure regulators, gauges, and related equipment.
- Operate lathes, grinders, drills, milling machines, welding equipment, and cutting tools to repair or fabricate parts.
- Repair and maintain facility systems and structures as needed.
- Complete maintenance work orders accurately and in a timely manner while following all safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
