Mykelly is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Romeoville, IL to keep food production lines running smoothly. The role involves troubleshooting high-speed packaging machines and maintaining facility systems to USDA standards.

Pay starts at $33 per hour plus shift differential, with a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience in food/manufacturing, strong electrical skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Formación

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing.
• Strong skills in 3-phase electrical systems, wiring, motors, and control panels.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• USDA/FDA experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Keep production and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Handle setup, changeovers, and quick fixes for conveyors, baggers, scales, and barcode systems.
• Read electrical schematics and perform basic PLC/VFD troubleshooting.
• Stay ahead of issues with preventive maintenance and regular inspections.
• Jump into action when equipment breaks down to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe, USDA-regulated workspace.
