Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Description:

Join us as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at our Blue Anchor, NJ plant. You'll collaborate with our team to keep our plant running smoothly and improve our machinery and maintenance department. The shift for this position is 7 pm to 7 am, with a starting rate of $30.34. Licenses in Refrigeration/Boiler from the State of New Jersey will be paid an additional hourly rate as follows: Black/Blue $1.50; Black/Blue/Red $3.00; Black/Blue/Red/Gold $4.50. New hires have one year from their hire date to obtain the license from the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment. We encourage collaboration and offer opportunities to gain proficiency in specialized equipment and automation systems, along with certifications and training to enhance skills.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting Preventative Maintenance – Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
2. Ensuring Performance Efficiency – Manage equipment setup, change-overs, and respond to breakdowns to keep production moving.
3. Following Best Practices – Adhere to safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
