Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Conroe, TX is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a diverse team responsible for the upkeep and repair of industrial plant equipment, including DOT fleet compliance, heavy equipment, welding, and industrial electrical systems.

You will schedule, direct, and review work, provide training, conduct performance appraisals, and ensure adherence to safety codes and company policies. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on technical expertise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years minimum experience in skilled trades.
• Valid driver's license in the work location state.
• Experience leading maintenance teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage maintenance of industrial plant equipment and DOT fleet compliance.
• Schedule and supervise a crew of maintenance mechanics/technicians.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance reviews.
• Estimate labor and material costs for work orders.
• Ensure safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and coordinate repairs.
