Job summary
BOGE Rubber & Plastics in Hebron, KY is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to install, maintain and repair industrial equipment. You will inspect machinery, diagnose malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
The role requires an Associate degree or 2–3 years related experience, and proficiency in reading technical drawings and PLC ladder programs. Shifts may include overtime and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree (AA) from a two-year college, university or technical school or two to three years related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and diagrams; follow procedures for maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read metric drawings and PLC ladder programs; work with electrical and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment; performs preventive maintenance tasks.
- Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components of machinery and equipment.
- Sets up and operates machine tools to repair or fabricate parts and tools.
- Installs, programs or repairs automated machinery and equipment; works with supervisors to maintain safe operations.
