Job summary

Great Basin College in Elko is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach Industrial Maintenance (Millwright/Fixed Maintenance) at the Elko campus. The successful candidate will deliver courses on pumps, power transmissions, rigging, blueprint reading, shaft alignment, and related maintenance topics, and will develop and revise curriculum to reflect industry standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in mining-related fixed equipment repair & maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Experience in career and technical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach classes in Millwright Technology.
• Supervise students in classroom and laboratory settings.
• Direct and assess students’ progress toward competencies.
• Interact with mining and industry partners to enhance partnerships.
