Tyson Foods in Humboldt, TN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment while ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with Tyson policies.

Candidates must have at least 6 months of mechanic experience or completion of industrial maintenance training, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics, plumbing, welding, and PLCs; ability to lift up to 125 pounds and work long shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months mechanic experience or completed industrial maintenance training.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing and welding.
• Experience with PLCs is a plus; able to perform physical duties including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line equipment.
• Learn Tyson SAP to create work orders and complete daily documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers.
• Assist with lifting up to 50 lbs and periodic heavy lifting as needed.
