Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for a D Shift (Nights) at our Kentucky facility. The role involves cross-functional maintenance across plant systems, proactive upkeep, and safety-focused problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with team members to keep production running smoothly. Overtime and own-tools are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanic work experience or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Willing and able to perform physical duties as described in the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe operation of equipment and team.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Conduct emergency repairs as needed and troubleshoot equipment.
• Interact with plant personnel to achieve goals and minimize downtime.
• Commit to overtime and weekend work as required; furnish own tools.
