Job summary

Tyler Pipe, a McWane subsidiary in Tyler, Texas, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across the plant. You’ll work on generators, transformers, switchboards, motors, and conduit, ensuring safe, efficient operation and compliance with all PPE and safety rules.

Applicants must have verifiable electrical maintenance experience, pass an exam and background checks, and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience in electrical maintenance.
• Pass a written exam to assess electrical knowledge.
• Pass a background check, drug screening, and fitness test.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment across the plant.
• Coordinate installation and maintenance of generators, transformers, switchboards, and motors.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Plan, schedule, and assign daily maintenance tasks with supervision.
• Order electrical parts and manage materials for tasks.
• Read wiring diagrams and provide guidance to others.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and use PPE as required.
