Job summary

Qualifications

• Three+ years in maintaining industrial control systems.
• Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Fanuc.
• Experience with building automation and HVAC technologies.
• Ability to read and analyze technical documentation and electrical schematics.
• Detail-oriented with proactive problem solving.
• Familiarity with CMMS and 5S methodologies.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical frameworks to diagnose and fix industrial control setups. By applying your analytical skills, you will ensure that control system malfunctions are resolved promptly. Furthermore, you will utilize your proficiency in interpreting technical schematics and manuals to conduct regular upkeep on these systems. Your background in building automation, HVAC, CMMS platforms, and PLC diagnostics will be essential to your success.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve issues within industrial control hardware, including PLCs, HMIs, and various drive systems.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to keep electrical and mechanical equipment running smoothly.
• Partner with maintenance and engineering departments to help improve overall system efficiency.
• Keep precise documentation to ensure the facility meets all safety standards.
• Utilize logic tools, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters to pinpoint electrical faults.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and general mechanical repair tasks.
• Work alongside external contractors and vendors to facilitate system upgrades and floor layouts.

Required Qualifications:

• At least three years of professional experience maintaining industrial control systems.
• Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs from manufacturers like Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc.
• Working knowledge of building automation and HVAC technologies.
• Proficiency in analyzing technical documentation and electrical schematics.
• Strong focus on detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, 5S methodologies, CMMS, and metric measurements.
• Preferred: Background in chilled water, vacuum, compressed air, and Mitsubishi controller systems.

Physical Demands:

• Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing loads of 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to remain on your feet and walk throughout an entire 8-hour shift.
• Comfort working in loud settings and performing tasks that require balancing or climbing.
• Adherence to all safety guidelines and consistent use of necessary personal protective equipment.
