Job summary

Kellanova is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for the Wyoming Bakery on the night shift. This on-site role features a two-week rotating schedule of 12‑hour shifts (5:45 PM – 6:00 AM) with training on the first shift for 60–90 days.

The position pays $42.53 per hour and includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You will work with Operations, Food Safety, and EH&S to keep production machinery running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• State/Local Electrical License or Journey Card at time of hire or upon hire.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with behavior-based safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and expand PLC knowledge; troubleshoot and repair during both preventive and on‑the‑spot needs.
• Analyze causes of equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis, and repair electrical and mechanical systems using PLCs.
• Propose improvements to plant efficiency and communicate with supervisors and mechanics.

Join our Wyoming Bakery team as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician on our night shift This is an on-site role with a two-week rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts (5:45 PM – 6:00 AM). The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $42.53, and we’re offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that includes Operations, Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety professionals, all working together to keep our production machinery running smoothly. This role offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge equipment and the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining Equipment & Amplifying PLC Knowledge – Alternate between troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on‑the‑spot machine repair, focusing on programmable logic controllers.
• Analyzing Conditions & Providing Solutions – Identify and examine equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis, and repair electrical and mechanical systems using PLC programming.
• Prioritizing Innovation & Communication – Seek ways to improve plant efficiency, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and maintain open communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Mechanics.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• High School diploma or GED
• State/Local Electrical License OR Journey Card (or will have either at time of hire)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior‑based safety systems
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• PLC experience
