Job summary

Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment in Franklin, OH is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to install, repair, calibrate and maintain electronic equipment across the Shingle Line. You will follow safety rules, inspect devices daily and keep logs for supervision review.

Required: 1.5+ years of industrial electrician experience, ability to work rotating shifts and overtime, and pass Ramsey Electrical Testing. High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, repair and maintain electronic equipment on the shingle line.
• Follow all plant safety PPE requirements and procedures.
• Inspect electronic devices daily to support machine performance and data collection.
• Maintain shift logs and coordinate with supervision and personnel.
• Analyze wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics; keep drawings up to date.
• Use meters and testing equipment for troubleshooting and modifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment issues and locate faults.
• Maintain plant instrumentation like controllers, transmitters and flow devices.
• Ensure spare parts availability with maintenance supervision.
• Assist with maintenance tasks as needed.

Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for Franklin, OH.

Maintenance Electrician Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing, calibrating, repairing, designing, constructing, adjusting, modifying, and performing preventative maintenance on all types of electronic equipment.
• Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Perform daily inspection of all electronic devices necessary for machine performance and data collection to produce a quality product.
• Maintain daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision, and other plant personnel.
• Analyze and reviews wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics. Checks to insure electrical drawings are up-to-date.
• Use various types of meters and test equipment proficiently to allow for sound decision‑making in the troubleshooting process. Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications.
• Troubleshoot, locate and isolate problems associated with electrical equipment on the Shingle Line.
• Maintain plant instrumentation such as heat controllers and recording devices, concentration transmitters, level controls, and flow control devices.
• Work with maintenance supervisor to insure a sufficient level of back up spares for all electronic equipment.
• Assist with maintenance as needed.

Maintenance Electrician Experience

• Minimum of one and a half (1.5) years industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass Ramsey Electrical Testing
• Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime

• Tools: Must be able to use power tools, including electrical testing and measuring equipment.
