Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma is hiring an Industrial Maintenance / Cyclotron Service Technician to support PET radiopharmaceutical production at multiple locations. You will maintain and troubleshoot cyclotron systems and related equipment, developing expertise with advanced technology.

This role primarily runs on an afternoon/night shift (Sunday-Thursday) at the Radiopharma Solutions pharmacy, with flexibility for alternative shifts.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with low/high voltage, RF, and vacuum systems.
• Basic plumbing experience.
• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Willing to learn new software and hardware solutions.
• Experience with three-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics; structured problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules and manipulator arms.
• Monitors and positively affects financial and operational performance.
• Work in compliance with EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable laws, DOT, and internal policies.
• Incorporates new technology, products, and processes into daily operations.
• Participates in personnel training and staff development.
• Works cross-functionally with production teams to implement strategic initiatives.
• Responds to service calls within a reasonable time.
• Completes work history tickets with relevant details.
• Schedules work and manages spare parts to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness.
• Monitors and improves Up Time for site cyclotron systems.
• Assesses semi-complex product/equipment performance and recommends improvements.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

In this role you can put your electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills to work on highly specialized equipment supporting PET radiopharmaceutical production. You'll maintain and troubleshoot cyclotron systems and related equipment while developing expertise with advanced technology.

Shift

Please note that this is primarily an afternoon/night shift position (Sunday-Thursday) at the Radiopharma Solutions pharmacy; flexibility to work alternative shifts is required. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities. Provides service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules and manipulator arms as assigned.
• Monitors and positively affects financial and operational performance.
• Works in compliance with all regulatory standards including EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies and interpretations of the above as required.
• Incorporates new technology, products, and processes into daily operations.
• Participates in personnel training and staff development.
• Works cross-functionally with production team to successfully implement strategic initiatives.
• Responds to calls for service support within a reasonable amount of time.
• Completes and submits work history tickets in a timely fashion and includes all relevant details.
• Completes and submits all timecards, assigned training and expense reports in a timely fashion, and includes all relevant details.
• Schedules work and manages spare parts usage to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness.
• Monitors and improves Up Time for site cyclotron system(s)
• Participates in the assessment of semi-complex product and equipment performance and recommends modifications and improvements.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• You have experience with low and high voltage, Radio Frequency, and vacuum systems background.
• You have basic plumbing experience.

• You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Please note that this position will require ability to makeshift changes often and weekend availability

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range for this position is: $50,210 - 69,036

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
