Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma is seeking an Industrial Maintenance / Cyclotron Service Technician to service cyclotron systems and related modules at multiple locations, including Overland Park, KS. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, with afternoon/night shifts and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules and manipulator arms.
• Monitor uptime and improve site cyclotron systems.
• Schedule work and manage spare parts to control costs.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner and document work.
• Submit timecards and work history tickets accurately.

Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma is hiring an Industrial Maintenance / Cyclotron Service Technician for the following locations: Woburn, MA; Cincinnati, OH; Nashville, TN; Overland Park, KS; Las Vegas, NV; and Spokane, WA. In this role you can put your electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills to work on highly specialized equipment supporting PET radiopharmaceutical production. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot cyclotron systems and related equipment while developing expertise with advanced technology.

Shift: Please note that this is primarily an afternoon/night shift position (Sunday-Thursday) at the Radiopharma Solutions pharmacy; flexibility to work alternative shifts is required.

• Able to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities. Provides service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules and manipulator arms as assigned.
• Monitors and positively affects financial and operational performance.
• Works in compliance with all regulatory standards including EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies and interpretations of the above as required.
• Incorporates new technology, products, and processes into daily operations.
• Participates in personnel training and staff development.
• Works cross-functionally with production team to successfully implement strategic initiatives.
• Responds to calls for service support within a reasonable amount of time.
• Completes and submits work history tickets in a timely fashion and includes all relevant details.
• Completes and submits all timecards, assigned training and expense reports in a timely fashion, and includes all relevant details.
• Schedules work and manages spare parts usage to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness.
• Monitors and improves Up Time for site cyclotron system(s)
• Participates in the assessment of semi-complex product and equipment performance and recommends modifications and improvements.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• You have experience with low and high voltage, Radio Frequency, and vacuum systems background.
• You have basic plumbing experience.
• You have very good mechanical abilities.
• You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
• Experience with 3 phase electrical
• Structured problem-solving techniques and ability to read and interpret schematics
• Strong experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Please note that thisposition will require ability to makeshift changes often and weekend availability

The base pay range for this position is:

$50,210 - 69,036

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
