Job summary

Siemens Healthineers PETNET Solutions in Durham, NC, is seeking a production supervisor to lead radionuclide production and radiopharmaceutical testing, ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role oversees inventory, supervises staff, and ensures safety, cGMP adherence, and timely delivery of products. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing lab management experience.
  • Management of multiple exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Strong communication and ability to interpret complex instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows applications.
  • Ability to handle 100 lb. packages.

Responsibilities

  • Production of radionuclides.
  • Preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Maintaining inventory.
  • Manages P&L responsibilities.
  • Responsible for supervision of employees including HR functions.
  • Compliance with cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies.
  • Supervise aseptic techniques and QC procedures per SOPs.
  • Manage documents and records.
  • Coordinate preparation and shipment of radioactive materials.
  • Operate cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and software.
  • Ensure a safe, clean workplace and exemplary customer service.
  • Provide staff training and development.

On the job training provided by our own world class training team, which is based in Knoxville, TN. For the first 5 weeks you will be enrolled in an extensive in person and virtual training class which is specifically designed to enable you to help develop the skills you will need to work in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Production of radionuclides
  • Preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Manages P&L responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervision of employees including Human Resource functions
  • Manages compliance with all regulatory commitments including the cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities
  • Manages performance of aseptic techniques, including sterility test and pyrogen testing per company standard operating procedures
  • Manages performance of QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per company standard operating procedures
  • Manages applicable documents and records
  • Manages/delegates preparation and shipment of radioactive materials according to procedure and licensing authorities requirements
  • Manages/delegates the operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software
  • Ensures site is clean, orderly and a safe working environment
  • Provides exemplary customer service, including telephone support and customer visits as necessary
  • Manages/provides personnel training and staff development

Employment and Compensation

The base pay range for this position is: $104,930 - $144,276. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
